Organizational Committee
The following High-Level Interinstitutional Organizational Committee has been formed for the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2022:
- Dana Reizniece – Ozola – FIDE Managing Director, Deputy Chair of Management Board;
- Francisco Javier Ochoa De Echaguen – President of Chess Federation of Spain, FEDA;
- Augustin Garcia Horcajo – President of Madrid Chess Federation, FMA;
- Ricardo Echeita Sarrionandia – Deputy Director of the Sports Department at Madrid Regional Government (Subdirector de Instalaciones Deportivas, Comunidad de Madrid);
- Jesus Maria Mardaras Arrue – Deputy Director of the High-Level Sports Events (Subdirector General de Alta Competicion), CSD.
Where relevant the above Committee coordinates all the major issues related to the tournament.
